Trash Hauls were reduced by more than 42%. Recycling hauls were cut by more than 73%. These results were achieved without impacting operations, overloading the compactors or adding management burden.
Prior to Pioneer, the cleaning crew had to double-handle the trash. They would stage trash on the dock, continue with their cleaning tasks, and return later to load the trash into the compactor when it returned from the landfill run.
Hauling less often meant the compactors were at the dock, available to load, for an additional 8+ hours per week—an entire shift.
